Land O' Lakes Post-Construction Cleaning
New shells are going up fast along SR 54 and US 41, and every one of them ends buried in drywall and stucco dust. Patriot Building Solutions runs the rough, final, and touch-up phases, timed to your inspection date, so the space is genuinely ready to hand over.

Three Phases, One Standard
Rough Clean
Bulk debris hauled out and heavy dust knocked down once the messy trades clear, so your finish crews start in a clean space.
Final Clean
Every finished surface detailed: casework inside and out, fixtures, glass, frames, tracks, and floors taken to their finish.
Touch-Up
The last pass before your walk, catching resettled dust and anything the punch list turned up since the final.
Built for the SR 54 Corridor
Central Pasco is building about as fast as any corridor in the Tampa Bay metro. The rooftops going up around Bexley, Connerton, and Angeline pull commercial square footage in behind them: medical and dental suites, restaurant fit-outs, retail bays, and office space that was slab and steel a few months ago. We work that corridor out of New Port Richey, twenty-five minutes west, so a Land O' Lakes site is a routine morning for us.
Every one of those projects finishes the same way. The building is structurally done and the space is unusable: joint compound haze on the walls, stucco fines on the glass, adhesive and label residue on the frames, paint flecks on the hardware, sawdust in every corner and track. That last layer is the whole distance between a punch-list completion and a space a tenant can occupy, and it is the only thing we do on these jobs.
Dust That Does Not Stay Put
Drywall dust in Florida behaves differently than the trades expect. It rides the air handler the moment the system is commissioned, so a suite that looked finished at four o'clock has a gray film on the sills by morning. Humidity makes it worse: compound and stucco fines pick up moisture and smear instead of lifting. So we clean top down, we lift the dry material before anything wet touches it, and we make multiple passes. Cutting a pass does not save a day, it buys a callback the morning of a walkthrough.
Glass, Frames, and Tracks
Glass is where these jobs are won or lost, and on a new build-out it is covered in stucco splatter, adhesive labels, paint dots, and a film of construction dust. The grit in that film is exactly what scratches a pane if a dry blade gets dragged across it, so we soften and lift the debris first, then razor and squeegee properly. Frames, sills, and tracks get the same attention, because that is where the sandy site mud hides and it is the first place an inspector or a tenant runs a finger.
Protecting New Finishes
Everything on a fresh build-out is at its most fragile the week it gets cleaned. New LVP and tile grout, unsealed stone, brushed fixtures, painted casework, and powder-coated hardware all dull or scratch if you bring the wrong chemistry or a loaded pad to them. We match the product to the surface, keep grit off pads and blades, and sequence the work so debris never travels back across something already finished. A scratched storefront pane or a hazed floor costs the contractor far more than the clean did.
Sandy Site Mud in Wet Season
From June on, an afternoon storm turns a Pasco site into sand and mud that every trade walks straight into the building. It grinds into new flooring, packs into door tracks, and hides under toe kicks and in elevator saddles. We plan around it: we do not schedule a final clean behind a trade still hauling material through the front door, and we build the touch-up phase specifically so the wet-season mess that appears between the final and the handoff gets caught.
Medical, Dental, and Restaurant Build-Outs
Not every build-out gets handed over the same way, and the last clean should reflect what the space is about to become. A dental or medical suite off SR 54 gets a disinfection pass on its cabinetry, sinks, and casework on top of the construction clean, because a patient sits next to those surfaces on day one. A restaurant fit-out is a different animal: stainless goes streaky with the wrong product, and the health inspection is a separate hurdle from the CO. Retail bays and open shells mostly come down to volume, glass, and floor finish. We scope each one for what it is.
Timed to Your CO Walk
Nothing on a build runs exactly to plan. Tell us your CO inspection date and we schedule backward from it, and when a trade slips we shift with you. Antonio keeps a direct line open with your superintendent through the last week, because a final clean that lands before the last dusty task is done is a clean you pay for twice. Once we are off the site, tenants often keep us on for recurring office cleaning and window cleaning. See the full post-construction cleaning scope or browse the gallery of real Patriot work.

A Veteran-Owned Crew Your GC Can Count On
Patriot Building Solutions is veteran-owned, and Antonio runs it on the discipline he brought home from seven years in the U.S. Army. On a build-out that shows up as a documented scope, a crew that arrives when we said, and a standard that does not soften because the schedule got tight. If something is not right on your walk, we come back and fix it under our no-worries guarantee.
Contractors tend to keep us after the first job for a simple reason: the clean is the last thing anyone sees before the building changes hands, and it gets blamed for everything. Our crews are trained and background-checked, they know what a fresh finish costs, and they will tell you straight if something on site is going to be a problem instead of cleaning around it and letting you find out on the walk.
Getting started is simple. Call (908) 902-1178 or request a free walkthrough, and we will walk your Land O' Lakes site, look at the phase count and the condition the trades are leaving, and send back one clear written price. Land O' Lakes Post-Construction FAQs
Which phases of post-construction cleaning do you cover?
All three. The rough clean pulls bulk debris and heavy dust once the messy trades are off the job, the final clean details every finished surface, and the touch-up catches whatever settles before your handoff. Most Land O' Lakes contractors book the full sequence so one crew owns the standard, but we will run only the final and touch-up if that is where you need us.
Can you time the final clean to a CO inspection?
That is how we schedule every job. Tell us your inspection date and we work backward from it. Build schedules along SR 54 move constantly, so if a trade slips or your inspector moves up a day, we shift with you. Antonio keeps a direct line open with your superintendent so nobody is guessing when the crew arrives.
How is pricing set for a Land O' Lakes build-out?
We walk the site, look at the square footage, the phase count, the glass, and the condition the trades are leaving it in, then give you one clear price in writing. No hourly surprises. Bundling the rough, final, and touch-up phases together earns a group rate. Ask us for a free walkthrough.
Are your crews insured for an active job site?
Yes. We carry full liability coverage and workers' compensation, and every crew member is background-checked. Certificates of insurance go to your GC or property manager on request, which most Land O' Lakes contractors need on file before we badge in.
Do you clean during construction or only at the end?
Both. Rough cleans keep a site workable between trades, and the final clean lands before your walkthrough. We scope the phases you actually need.
